Awards and Honors
- In 2006, Mark received the “Garden State Seeds of Hope Award” from the statewide publication, New Jersey Monthly, for his ongoing humanitarian work with youth through Global Care Unlimited, Inc.
- In 2003, Mark received the “Peace Award” from Tenafly Mayor, Ann Moscovitz for his humanitarian work with youth.
- In 2000, Mark received the “Commitment Award” from the Puffin Cultural Forum of Teaneck, New Jersey, for his work in encouraging youth leadership in human rights and social justice.
- In 1998-99, Mark was named Teacher of the Year by Tenafly Public Schools and nominated for the New Jersey State Teacher of the Year.
