• Objective:  To educate New Jersey youth about the history, culture, living conditions and humanitarian problems facing Cambodia.

• Topic:  Peace Corps work in Thai refugee camp for Cambodian survivors of Khmer Rouge Genocide

• Objective:  To educate 6th grade TMS students about the history, culture, living conditions and humanitarian problems facing Cambodia.

• Audience:  Stillman Elementary School, Grade 5, Tenafly 

• May 24, 2005 – Evening Public Presentation - “Eye on Cambodia”
• Objective:  To educate Tenafly parents and community about the history, culture, living conditions and humanitarian problems facing Cambodia.

• Audience:  Grades 6-8, Tenafly Middle School

• October 19, 2005 – Classroom Speaker (Grade 6, TMS & Eastbrook MS, Paramus, NJ) - Sarath Douer, Director, Cambodian Volunteers for Community Development
• Topic: Humanitarian work done by Global Care partner, CVCD

• Venue:  Conference sponsored by Montclair Chapter of the United Nations Association of the USA (“Child Casualties of War:  Loss Innocence/Loss Limbs”)

• January 15, 2006 – TMS Global Care Club Presentation 
• Venue:  Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, Morristown, NJ

• January 23, 2006 – Fundraising Event - “Concert For Cambodia” – Tenafly Middle School
• Raised $6,000 to support a Master and his class of 50 students
• Partner Organization:  Cambodian Living Arts/Cambodian Master Performers Program

• January 24, 2006 – Classroom Speaker (Grade 6) - Sophy Him, Cambodian Composer of forthcoming of Cambodian-American Opera
• Topic:  Experiences and influences as Cambodian classical composer

• March 3, 2006 – TMS Global Care Club Presentation

• March 3, 2006 – Fundraising Event - TMS Faculty-Student Basketball Game
• Raised $4,200 to sponsor purchase of 10 computers for use by rural Cambodian youth in “non-formal” educational program
• Partner Organization:  Cambodian Volunteers for Community Development

• March 11, 2006 – First Public Screening - “Cambodia Journal”
• Objective:  To show a documentary of the two-week Youth Delegation Trip to Cambodia in February 2005

• May 4, 2006 – Evening Public Presentation – Arn Chorn-Pond – “The Flute Player:  One Man’s Inspiring Response to Genocide” & Presentation by TMS Global Care Club
